Swim - 1500m (2 x 750m laps)
Sea swim in the harbour, swimmers exit the water at the end of lap 1, round the marker on the beach and re-enter the water to complete the second lap.
Bike - 40km (2 lap bike course)
2 laps out and back to the roundabout at Papamoa Beach Road and Pacific View Road.
Athletes exit transition and travel along The Mall, turning right into Adams Avenue and right into Marine Parade.
Turn left onto Oceanbeach Road and cycle to the end turning at the end of the cul-de-sac. Make a left into Yale Street, left into Maramui/Papamoa Beach Road, turning at the roundabout at Pacific View Road.
Return via Maranui/Papamoa Beach Road, turning right into Yale Street, left into Oceanbeach Road, right onto Marine Parade and back to The Mall, turn left into Prince Avenue and then right back onto The Mall for the second lap.
On your final return to transition you will turn left into Prince Avenue and then left into transition and dismount.
Run - 10km (1 lap run).
From transition, athletes run up The Mall, turn into Adams Ave and head along Marine Parade to the turnaround at Tay Street.
Return to transition via the Mount Base Track (running anti clockwise), exit the base track and run down The Mall to the finishline.
